Details: Kensun HID Xenon Headlight Conversion Kit - HID lights have a glass chamber of gas, replacing the filament of traditional halogen bulbs. The gas is ignited by a 23,000v charge and stays illuminated by a constant 12v source provided by a ballast which is connected directly to your battery. Remarkably, HID lights are able to provide greater light output with much less power consumption. Studies show that a 35w HID lamp produces 3 times as much light than a 55w halogen bulb. Also, a halogen bulb uses a continuous power draw of 10-15 amps, while the HID system uses 20 amps for ignition, but then drops to a mere 3 amps during operation (i.e. up to 80% less power during use!). In addition, the HID headlamp provides longer service life. With no filament to vibrate and fatigue, under normal conditions HID bulbs last roughly 10 times longer than halogen bulbs. What is HID Color Temperature? Color temperature is a characteristic of light that is sometimes mistaken as brightness, when it is more closely related to "cool" and "warm" tones of light. Color temperature is a measure in Degrees Kelvin of the hue of a light source, in this case the HID bulb. (The term color temperature actually refers to the color associated with the amount of heat needed to produce that color from an ideal black body.) It is hard to describe HID colors accurately since many variables such as voltage, type of ballast and the environment can affect color output. Also, color perception is subjective. That said, here is a rough guide to Color Temperatures for HID bulbs:3000K = Yellow, 4300K = Bright white yellow tinge, 5000K = Pure white, 6000K = Bright white (some detect slight blue), 8000K = White with blue tinge, 10000K = Light blue, 12000K = Blue, 15000K = Darker Blue (may appear violet), 20000K = Blue indigo, 30000K = Indigo

Warranty ballast DO need to be shipped back to XenonSupply after receiving a replacement, a return label may be provided for the ballast depending on the cause of damage.  Once a replacement item has been received and installed, the customer must return the defective ballast to XenonSupply.

Warranty bulbs do not need to be shipped back to XenonSupply prior to receiving a replacement.  Once a replacement item has been received and installed, the customer must provide a photo of the defective items with the wires cut as proof.  Photos must be submitted to help@xenonsupply.com either as an attachment, or a viewable link.

Additionally, all warranties cover only ONE replacement of the original products purchased and are non-transferable. Our warranty does not cover replacement of replacements. Our products are rated to last well beyond 3 years, and in rare cases where a customer's car is prematurely shortening the lifespan of our products either due to vehicle electrical issues or customer misuse, including but not limited to improper mounting of ballasts, auto collision/accidents, damage by customer, improper installation with daytime running lights (DRLs), installation on high beams, etc., it will void our replacement warranty.

*Note that original shipping costs are non-refundable, and if the order qualified for free shipping, a flat $10.00 shipping and handling fee will be deducted.

 

XenonSupply Return Policy:

XenonSupply offers a standard 30-day return policy. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your products purchased on XenonSupply, it may be returned within 30 days of the delivery date. The returned items must be in good condition with the original packaging and accessories. Upon inspection of a returned package, any items missing or damaged will have their value deducted from the total refund amount based on the current price of the item. Shipping costs on return items will be paid for by the customer. *Note that original shipping costs are non-refundable, and if the order qualified for free shipping, a flat $10.00 shipping and handling fee will be deducted.

How to process a return:
If you wish to return your item, you must first contact a XenonSupply Support Agent. Once you receive confirmation from a support agent, packages must be sent to the following address:

Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Products:
If your product(s) arrive defective, damaged, or simply incorrect, please contact a Technical Support Agent as soon as possible.  We will send you a replacement part and provide you with a prepaid return label to return the defective/incorrect part if necessary.  Product(s) must be returned to us within 30 days. Customer is responsible to notify us with the issue by sending an email to help@xenonsupply.com with the images of the incorrect or damaged product received as a photo attachment.

If requesting a warranty replacement of any item, upon receipt of the warranty replacement, the defective items' wires must be cut and a photo must be submitted to help@xenonsupply.com  to avoid chargebacks to your account.

Manufacturer Warranty covers the merchandise(s) sold only. Any warranty of the installation of the product is the responsibility of the individual, shop, or technician who performed the installation. Our warranty is only valid with proof of sale from XenonSupply.com. A proof of installation is required for all warranty claims for HID Kits. Warranty coverage is non-transferable. This Warranty specifically excludes defects resulting from water damage, fire, chemical spillage, acts of God, misuse, abuse, neglect, alteration, modification, improper installation, operation with un-approved aftermarket headlights and/or DRL (Daytime Running Light) feature, submersion, vehicle crash, dropping or by any other type of impact. Color issues, such as discoloration, matching or ANY modification to the system and components, or operating on a vehicle with a defective component and part, will automatically void the warranty.
